Description
We are very pleased to present this spectacular 1939-1941, Fenton Art Glass brass table lamp, finished with a Scarce early Cranberry Opalescent swirl, modified rose bowl font. This Rare special flattened rose bowl was originally offered in 1938 in the Fenton new release French opalescent formula, and its Style Number is #201. The font's age is validated by the more subtle Cranberry formula and deft Opalescence, in deference to the much more vibrant 1960s vintage darker Cranberry, with fiery Opalescent characteristics. Please note*** this glass and style was sold directly as Fenton, and is so cataloged. Our lamp is well before the large special mold items produced for L.G. Wright. This is a wonderful example. Measures 6.60x6.40x14 without harp. Wt. 3 pds 8 oz. PROVENANCE: A Private Charleston SC Estate.
