Lot of eight late 19th / early 20th C. Dutch Gin glass bottles (made for the trade markets in Africa) includes: "African" embossed 9 1/4" (height) dark olive green, Daniel Visser & Son 9 1/2" (height) dark olive green, G. W. Herwig 9 3/4" (height) dark olive green, J.J. W. Peters 8 1/2" (height) light olive green and 10" (height) dark olive green, unsigned 9 3/4" (height) dark amber and William Haselamp 8 1/2" (height) green and 10" (height) aqua. The bottles were made for the African trade market. CONDITION: All have some form of wear from age to usage. Chip and striation marks on African bottle opening. Small chip on top rim of opening on Daniel Visser bottle. Rough edge on base of Herwig bottle. Large chip on right side panel near base on 10" Peters bottle. Small chip on base of 8 1/2" Haselcamp bottle.
