Pair of French Empire Style Carved Mahogany Beds, 19th c., the curved headboards over crossed lattice flanked by swan stiles on splayed legs joined by two curved rails to like constructed footboards, H.- 39 1/2 in., Int. W.- 37 in., D.- 73 1/2 in.

Condition consistent with age and use. Scattered scuffs, scratches, and dents are observed throughout the pair, especially at the tops of the footboards and headboards. An inconsistent, slightly raised texture is noted to the finish, especially on the tops of the headboards. Spots of clear residue are observed on the top right of one headboard. An approximate 1 inch triangular chip is seen on the top of a rail. A lovely pair. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
