Description
Four Pieces of French Copper Cookware, 19th c., consisting of a covered daubiere, with brass handles; a large covered sauce pan with brass handles; and two copper saucepan lids with iron handles, Daubiere- H.- 8 in., W.- 16 7/8 in., D.- 8 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. Scattered light scratches and dents are noted throughout. Four pea-size spots of oxidation are observed on the lid of the sauce pan. Scattered spots of oxidation are observed throughout the daubiere lid and the larger saucepan lid. An approximate 2 inch area of lighter patina is noted on the side of the sauce pan. A very faint line is noted around the bottom of the daubiere. A nice set.
