Late 19th/early 20th century, comprising a crocodile match safe marked ''Geschutzt''; an alligator-form match safe depicted wearing a top hat and devouring a salesman, the man's shoes marked ''Clay Greene'', apparently unsigned; a Gila monster with gem-set eyes mounted atop a shell dish, apparently unsigned; and seven lizards of various types and sizes, one mounted to a stone base, one marked ''Geschutzt'', one illegibly numerically stamped, 10 pieces, the bowl: 2.375'' H x 9.75'' W x 8.625'' D; the largest lizard: 2.5'' H x 8.75'' W x 7.5'' D, est: $800/1200

Each in overall good condition, with scattered scratches, wear and losses to cold-painted finish commensurate with age. Alligator match safe with a break to cane at end of handle. One small lizard with breaks to three hind toes; another with two drill holes to underside.
