Description
Massive Caucasian dagger with utility knife ca. 1840 - 1860. Double edged pointed blade with one deep fuller on each side. The blade is decorated with gold Arabic inscription: Horn grip with two steel rivets decorated with gold inlay. Wooden scabbard wrapped in original black leather. Steel fitting with gold inlay decoration. Ivory ball at the tip. Utility knife with single edged blade, horn grip and ivory pommel.
Overall length is 22.0", 56 cm, blade length is 15.7 in., 40.0 cm.
