A gorgeous retro emerald cocktail ring, in bicolor 14K gold, circa 1950's - 1970's. This delightful piece has been crafted out of, two tone, 14 karat rose and yellow gold and been prong set with a, solitaire, faceted oval emerald measuring, approximately, 3.5 carats. The gem is a fine green hue , has medium saturation, light tone and good clarity. The ring is in overall very good vintage condition showing only expected signs of wear. Mentioned for accuracy there is a small crack adjacent to one of the prongs; the setting is stable and it does little to detract from the rings overall beauty. It weighs approximately 5.67 grams and is U.K ring size O ( U.S ring size 7 1/4). It is hallmarked with the Soviet control mark 583 for 14Kt gold (confirmed with acid testing). Enchanting!
