A stunning Art Deco diamond engagement ring, set in 18Kt gold, France, circa 1920's - 1940's. The elegant 18 karat white gold band has been prong set with a solitaire round old European cut diamond measuring approximately 0.76 carats. The gem has very good color (E - F) and clarity (VVS - VS). The ring is in excellent vintage condition, showing only general signs of wear. It weighs approximately 4.27 grams and is U.K ring size M 1/2 (U.S ring size 6 1/2). The face of the ring measures 0.39 inches (1 cm) by 0.39 inches (1 cm). It bears the French gold hallmark for 18K gold (confirmed with acid testing). Magnificent!
