Vintage Swiss made watch by Jaquet Droz. This watch features a 25 Jewel automatic movement and is running strong and keeping perfect time. As you can see, it has a striking blue dial with a date window and luminescent hands and markers, as well as a brushed finish stainless silver case. The back of the case is marked JD 1366, as well as "Stainless Steel Water Resistant Automatic." Given that this is a vintage watch (probably dating to 1960's), I cannot say for sure that the watch is water resistant anymore, though I am sure your horologist can check it if you are interested. The case measures approximately 35mm, excluding the crown, and has an 18mm lug width. This watch has a very clean crystal, case and dial though there appears to be a dirt speck over the date window visible with a jewelers loop. The strap appears to be new, but does have a gold tone buckle.
