South America, Bolivia, ca. last quarter of the 20th century. Oruro 1996 Van (noisemaker, matraka) White Van, metal black bumper. Black rubber tires. Wine colored tinsel on top. Wood handle. Two strap loops. Plastic strap has words, SENSACIONAL MNDA DE SACUCO. Size: 13.5" L x 6" H (34.3 cm x 15.2 cm). The noise it makes is guaranteed to give anyone a bleeding headache!
