This lot contains the following;Light Orange Case: Town of Bad Mergentheim : 20 black and white photos of this Spa town in the State of Baden-Wurttemberg of Germany. Each photo is 2 5/8 by 3 1/2 in glossy black and white with a 1/4-inch white border. On the back of each photo is the name of the town and the name of the subject of the photo, town center, castle, fountains, spa and landscapes. Front of case reads: Bad Mergentheim, 20 echte Photgraphien with a 3 1/4 in by 1 3/4-inch oval cut out window, then Verlag Chr. Heller, Bad Mergentheim. Reverse of case is tuck and fold, tab closed with W. Gerling, Darmstadt. Nachdruck verboten (Printed by Wilhelm Gerling in Darmstadt, Reprinting Forbidden) Red Case: Island of Rugen: a resort town in the German state of Mecklenburg on the Baltic Sea. 20 black and white glossy photos each 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches with a 1/4 white border and a numeral on the bottom corner of each image that corresponds with its description printed on the back of the case with a corresponding number. Case front has a plain bold rectangle border and the words a description of the contents in German, loosely translated it reads " A travel photo album 20 images to show and enlighten the Island of Rugen” written in an older German calligraphic style. Partial Cover Red: Leonhard Eich horn Printer , 20 photos of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, these 20 intact images appear to be of Rothenburg prior to WWII as the town hall, town defence walks and " The White Tower with Jews' Dancing House" all appear intact at the time of the photographs. 2 3/4 by 3 1/2 , black and white glossy photos each labeled on the back in four languages with the town of Rothenburg o/T and the subject of the photo. The remaining portion of the cover is the rear flap stating the name of the collection and by whom it was made.Dark Orange Cover: Prag Praha, either way you spell it it translates to Prague, Czechoslovakia in English. This is a collection of black and white photos from Prague that appear to be taken in the 1940's based on the vehicles and vintage style of dress the subjects show. The back of each image states the name of the image subject in both German and Czech. The cover is intact and folds envelope and tab style around its contents. In all four sets the images are in very good condition with no tears, foxing or noticeable damage.
