Description
Two diamond and gem-set rings. The first designed as an old-cut diamond collet diagonal line with asymmetric sides, the second designed as a 9ct gold oval-shape emerald with single-cut diamond surround. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Emerald ring with hallmarks for London, 1986. Total weight 4.1gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Emerald medium opaque green, moderate to poor saturation, with profuse inclusions that affect the passage of light through the stone. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Emerald with scratches across table facet Ring sizes M and K. Diamond ring stamped 18ct and PLATINUM.
