A pair of gold amethyst earrings. Each designed as an oval-shape amethyst with spiral surround and bead accent surmount. Hooks with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1977. Length 2.9cms. Weight 1.9gms.

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

Replacement surmount and ear hook.

Amethysts medium purple, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

One amethyst slightly darker than the other.

Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

With hooks for pierced ears.
