Description
1st item: Old Pawn concho belt with squash blossom buckle and oval conchos centered with turquoise cabochons, copper straps on back. Unmarked, possibly Navajo, mid 20th century. Buckle - 2 1/2" W x 3 1/2" L. 2nd item: Belt with sterling conchos, each in a rope style frame with beaded design and studded with a large slab of turquoise colored stone (likely reconstituted or simulated turquoise). Copper straps on backs. Buckle marked sterling, other pieces not marked. Buckle - 2 1/4" W x 2 3/8" L. Provenance: the estate of Capt. L. Bush Cole, Nashville, Tennessee (formerly of Texas). 1st belt: crack to 1 turquoise concho stone. 2nd belt: Very good condition.
