Late 19th or early 20th century Chinese carved side table, the rectangular flat top, surmounting the waisted apron, raised on straight squared legs joined by straight stretchers. The spandrels carved with open-work archaic scrolling twigs motif. The zitan wood is blackish red in color, showing feathery fine grain with lustrous patina, dense and smooth surface.
