Chinese Rectangular bronze censer, fang ding, raised on four shaped corner legs, wider to the rectangular flat opening. Two lion masks flanked under the lip. Repeated ruyi pattern banded above the foot. The bronze shows dark-brown with molted green-grayish patina, and trace of gilt.

Mark on base, six incised script -KaiShu- characters, XuanDe Reign Period of Great Ming

Excellent condition, with normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, molted patina, and some corrosion, minor scratch & dent. Normal, considering ages and wears.
