A Victorian burr walnut box with silver mounted fittings by Thomas William, Henry & Louis Dee, London 1859, retailed by Garrard & Co., engraved Garrard Haymarket to a brass plaque, with brass gothic mounts and cover swing handle, a Bramah-type lock to the leather lined fall front, stamped Patent only , the blue plush lined interior with a concealed stationery pocket, fitted with two cut glass two bottles, four circular and two rectangular jars, the engraved covers with a monogram and a four piece mother of pearl handled and/or steel manicure set in a drawer beneath, also monogrammed, 24cm (9 1/2in) wide
