Description
A cobalt ground kiln fired enamel tazza executed and decorated in a manner associated with Sevres. The deep cobalt ground enameled with raised gold rococo swirls, reserves with floral sprays, musical instruments in gold, the interior centered by a polychrome enamel scene of lovers in 18th century garb with musical instruments. There are no markings. Measures 5.5 x 5.25 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Condition
Chipping along the bottom edge, unevenness along the top edge, irregular gold trim along the top edge and a point of separation where the standard meets the bowl along with corresponding looseness. No major chips or repairs.
