Description
A pair of late 19th to early 20th century Chinese carved hardwood chairs, each ornate openwork back featuring bat form carved crest above flowering vines and two reniform marble plaques, over seat inset with marble with pierced scroll carved aprons, raised on shaped turned legs united by peripheral stretchers. Measures 36 x 20.5 x 16 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Condition
Loss of shell to each equals 3 to 5 per chair, loss of trim at lower front stretcher of one chair, minor separations. Good overall without repair, damage or losses beyond those listed.
