This is a 1950's French diamond double clip brooch.  The brooch features an open frame cascading scalloped design studded with 60 graduating round brilliant cut diamonds that weigh 5.00cts. They are set in a handmade 18K white gold mounting that weighs 13.80dwt.  The brooch can be worn as a larger single piece or it can also be taken apart into two separate smaller clips to be worn on a both sides of a lapel. As you can see from the photos the brooch is in overall excellent condition. It has makers marks and hallmarks stamped on each piece including the double clip support.  It measures 1 3/4".
