ENGLISH SHELL EDGE CERAMIC PLATTERS, LOT OF TWO, comprising one impressed "16" on base, rectangular with embossed leaf edge with scalloped green edge, one octagonal blue edge with impressed three-arm device within a circle and illegible letters on base. Staffordshire and other areas. Circa 1830. 17 1/8" x 14 1/8" and 18 7/8" x 14 3/4".
Blue edge platter undamaged, glaze exfoliation on base and on interior of rim on front side, and small flake on base, wear and roughness on rim.
