MID-ATLANTIC PAPER SCHERENSCHNITTE BY JOHN W. ROGERS, a large composition comprising stars, vines, and interlocking rings surrounding three oval reserves, the center reserve featuring a tipped-on albumen photo of Rogers cutting one of his works, ink inscription "John W. Rogers" (twice) and "Age 67 - (indecipherable)". Period gold-painted frame. Fourth quarter 19th century. 17" x 15" sight.
Section of upper border and one leaf replaced, small tape stains to edges.
