Camy Watch SA
The Camy watchmaking brand was initially established in Grenchen by the Stroun brothers, who then moved it to Geneva around 1913 under the name Camy Watch SA. The Stroun brothers were very active in the watchmaking world. In 1967 the company moved to La Queue-d'Arve to a factory that brought together administrative departments and two watchmaking workshops. These buildings are still there today. Rumor has it that Raymond Weil worked here for 26 years before leaving to start his own company in 1976. (nlu)
