This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE PAIR of STUD EARRINGS that was made in the ART DECO STYLE during the 1930s. They are HANDMADE from PLATINUM with 18K YELLOW GOLD POSTS & LARGE BUTTERFLY BACKS. The center of the studs are set with 2 OLD MINE CUT DIAMONDS of H & I color, SI1 clarity that weigh approx. .72 ctw in total. The diamonds are BEZEL-SET and WHITE & BRIGHT with BEAUTIFUL SPARKLE! These center diamonds are framed with 36 NATURAL BLUE SAPPHIRES weighing approx. .72 ctw. These sapphires are SQUARISH SHAPES that are CHANNEL-SET of very fine quality and color. The earrings have an outer circle of 36 BEZEL-SET OLD MINE CUT DIAMONDS of J color, SI clarity that weigh approx. .54 ctw. The total diamond weight is approx. 1.26 carats. The studs measure almost 1/2"? at the widest diameter and they are 3/16"? thick. The total weight is 5.3 grams. Similar pendants, earrings and rings are also available with sapphires or rubies.
