Description
Chinese, Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period mark (1736-1795), likely of the period. A bottle form snuff bottle with cloisonne enamel landscape scene on tondo bearing 3 standing white cranes amid lotus flowers on water, with a band of cobalt chrysanthemum petals to base above ring foot, the enamel stopper decorated with a pink lotus blossom. Underside incised with six character mark for the Chien Lung imperial reign. Contained within a fitted box lined in satin. Approximate height 2.875". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
