Description
Chinese, likely late 19th/ early 20th century Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). A pair of small round peking glass ginger jars converted to boudoir lamps, each table lamp comprising a white cameo glass body overlaid with emerald green and cut with decoration of four interlocking shou symbols on tondo to body, mounted with round wood base of downward arching form with further key motif in relief corresponding in spacing to shou symbols on glass above, and with lift off domed wooden top. Approximate overall height 8.5", diameter of base 6.75". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
