Likely American, 20th century. A tall scalloped side black glass vase with silver overlay decoration depicting a golfer in 19th century dress swinging a club on a lawn, the body section under golfer with tapering silver triangular forms conforming to shaped glass sides, with bands of silver to shoulder and foot. Unmarked. Approximate height 9.375", diameter 4.25".

Overall very good condition. Minimal very small flea bites and small flakes with loss to rim of mouth. Some scratches and tarnishing to silver; not distracting. Straw mark visible on bottom of vase. Scratches on base commensurate with age and contact with surface.
