An unusual Aesthetic Movement hand hammered sterling silver two handled wine cooler, possibly one-of-a-kind, of cylindrical form with slightly splayed base bearing applied band foot, waist, and mouth, with D-form tubular handles to either side from mouth to waist, and cast inscription to front in fantastic Art Nouveau type "FROM A FEW FRIENDS / January 25 - 1883 -" under monogram possibly "K". Approximate height 8.6", width across handles 11.5", diameter of foot 6.875". Approximate weight 40.5 troy ounces.
