Description
Continental, probably French, 20th century. Art Deco style figural table lamp having a frosted glass nude woman standing and covering her eyes on a circular black and white rotating or revolving base; the egg shaped internally ribbed blue glass shade with spurious impressed signature on fitter 'RLALIQUE' and resting in a metal hexagonal stand mounted on a macassar ebony veneered wood rectangular base with four square feet. The figural apparently unsigned. Approximate overall height 24.6", width 14.3" (foot to foot), depth 6.4" (foot to foot). Approximate height of figure along 19.6". Approximate height of shade alone 12.8". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
