Collection of three Alan Meiers (American, 20th century) mining theme watercolor paintings, comprising "Penokee Mine", watercolor on paper, graphite titled at lower right "Penokee Mine 7/20", apparently unsigned, with indistinct graphite inscriptions to verso "Penokee Mine Michigan", depicting mountainous mining scene with slender smokestacks and largely bare slopes with a few scattered trees; "Cliff Side in a Mining Town", watercolor on paper, apparently unsigned, depicting a cliff side scene with mining equipment in the foreground, with small mining town perched atop craggy. sheer cliff in the midground and dense forest in the distance; and "Bonnie Shaft", watercolor on paper, graphite titled at lower right "Bonnie Shaft 7/18", with indistinct graphite inscription to verso "Bonnie Shaft Michigan", depicting mining scene with large piles of earth, with stacks of wood, with industrial structures in the distance. "Penokee Mine" sheet size approximately 14.75" x 22". "Cliff Side in a Mining Town" sheet size approximately 15" x 22.75". "Bonnie Shaft" sheet size approximately 14.75" x 22".
