Description
Bevan Funnell Ltd (English, founded 1945), late 20th century. Chippendale style mahogany corner chair having a curved scrolled tablet crest over outscrolled arms above a pierced splat to each side above a shaped slip seat raised on three cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet. Seat is covered in gold and cream upholstery with repetitive square and interlocking ribbon. Label to underside seat rail 'Reprodux Traditional English Furniture made by Bevan Funnell Ltd ENGLAND'. Approximate height 31.8", width 29.25" (arm to arm), seat depth 21", seat height 18.5".
