Description
A Gilbert Adrian Costume Design Sketch from the Broadway Musical "Camelot." Rendered in pastel and pencil on blue paper, depicting two characters, signed in pencil in the lower right corner "Adrian;" according to Wikipedia, Adrian's "last career credit was the costume design for the Broadway musical 'Camelot.' The show starred Richard Burton, Julie Andrews, Robert Goulet, and Roddy McDowall, ran from 1960 to 1963, won four Tony Awards, and inspired Jacqueline Kennedy to name her husband's presidency after it.
