Description

Comprised of: 1) French tailcoat with leafy bullion, stand up collar and cuffs, nine silver eagle buttons inscribed "CONTRIBUTIONS DIRECTES" (Direct Contributions) used during French revolution. Bullion embroidered back with two buttons and a black quilted lining. Collar is separating, moth holes and a tear in lining, in good condition. 2) French black wool double breasted frock coat with bullion leafy collar and cuffs with acorns with two buttons per sleeve. Fourteen silver fasces buttons on front and eight buttons on rear. Green quilted lining with left breast pocket. Scattered holes and moth nips, in good condition. Condition (Good).
