Flaring double stair rim adorned with various floral vines
A gilded border encircles the outer rim
Short, raised foot rim

This Chinese Famille Rose charger was made for the European export market.
The center depicts a figurative scene of a cavalcade with a lady and her attendants. All figures are adorned with beautiful garments, presenting the beautiful colors the Famille Rose enamels over a fine white glowing glazed ground.
The central landscape bordered with fine gold and barbed lines, dividing the outer rim from the central well of the charger. The rim is double staired and richly decorated with gold gilding and vine sprays.
Condition
The Famille Rose charger is in good condition with hairline cracks and minor rim chips and restored rim chips, mostly along the edges. Some rubbing to the enameled paintwork, more through in the gold gilding. Minor surface wear from age.
