Antique oil painting on canvas circa mid to late 19th century depicting a meeting between a woman and a man which seems to be writing documents for the woman. This painting is signed "Elena" to the lower right. On the back of the painting there is a stamp from the makers of the canvas which dates to the 19th century. Measures 20" (51cm) width by 14" (36cm) height.
