Description
A late Victorian gold and diamond memorial ring. Of oval outline, the central floral design with old-cut diamonds, with blue enamel detail to the leaves and scrolling shoulders, to the personal inscription to the inner band. Ring size Q. Weight 5.6gms.
The condition of this lot is fair to poor, with much of the blue enamel deficient. Some of the diamonds have a cloudy appearance. There is a vacant space to the reverse of the ring, which would have had a glazed panel to it, now deficient. The inscription to the inside of the band is not entirely legible as it has been heavily worn. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
