A scarce history and mug book of Denver, with interesting articles concerning the early settlements in the region, gold mining, stock raising, the Ute rebellion, the Great Flood of 1864, railroads, etc. Includes many portraits of prominent citizens, as well as pleasing views of residences, businesses and the like. The frontispiece is a view of Denver. Howes D262, "aa."

Condition

Wear and soiling to cloth, rubbing to spine and extremities; area on front paste-down page where bookplate once was, Yale rubber library stamp on rear paste-down page, paper with borrowing history affixed to rear free endpaper; very good.
