20"....Kley & Hahn was founded in Ohrdruf, Thuringia, Germany in 1895 by Albert Kley and Paul Hahn as a porcelain factory making doll heads and bathing beauties. From 1902-1931 they made many types of dolls, including celluloid heads. Various porcelain factories supplied the bisque doll heads; Hertel, Schwab & Company made the 100 series doll molds, Kestner made the 200, 600 series and Walkure doll molds and Bahr & Proschild contributed the 500 series doll molds. Some of the trade names registered to Kley & Hahn are; The Dollar Princess, Special, Durabel, K., Majestic, Mein Einziges Baby (My Only Baby), Mein Einzige (My Only One), Princess, Schneewittchen (Snow White) and Walkure. Kley & Hahn often used the initials K & H in their doll marking. Kley & Hahn made named Dolly Face, Walküre, Character Babies and Child dolls with composition jointed bodies, all of very good quality and portrait dolls of Senegalaise or Senegalese prisoners in 1915.
