19th century, each with underglaze blue crossed swords mark, the first incised ''2858'', the second incised ''2863'', each oblong dish painted to interior with butterflies and floral sprays and relief-decorated to exterior with flowers, the first backed by a reclining female figure, the second with a reclining male figure, each raised on a rocaille gilt-highlighted base, the first: 7.25'' H x 12.75'' W x 7.25'' D; the second: 7.75'' H x 12'' W x 7.5'' D, est: $3000/4000
