Hand-colored lithograph titled "Grand National Union Banner for 1860 / The Candidates and Their Platform", published by Currier & Ives, New York, N.Y., 1860. Features jugate depiction of John Bell and Edward Everett beneath an eagle with wings spread and ribbon imprinted "Liberty and Union Now and Forever One and Inseparable No North, No South, No East, No West, Nothing but the Union." Both Bell and Everett are holding a document representing the "Constitution of the United States of America." [Image: 12-1/4" H x 9-5/8" W: Sheet: 14" H x 10" W]. Age-toning, minor foxing, and tipped to mount with masking tape at extreme edges at four points. Margin defects include irregular edges, soiling, and a water stain at lower left edge.
