Description
A late Georgian gold and topaz cross pendant, circa 1820. The square and fancy-shape golden topaz cross, with bead highlights and plain suspension loop. Length 4.9cms. Weight 5.5gms.
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Some settings may need to be secured.
  • Significant glue residue visible surrounding the central topaz where it appears to have been secured.
  • Central topaz is a possible replacement.
  • Topaz light golden yellow, with a weak to moderate saturation of colour. Good to fair clarity, some inclusions visible with the unaided eye.
  • Length stated includes surmount loop, length of cross 4.1cms.
