A Bronze 'Elephant' Censer and Cover The legs and handles issuing from the inverted bell-form body cast as the heads of caparisoned elephants, the openwork domed cover is decorated with lotus blooms borne on leafy tendrils surrounding the recumbent elephant-form finial depicted carrying a bowl filled with precious objects on its back.
