Description
AMERICAN FREE-BLOWN NEAR PAIR OF VASES, non-lead, each deep cobalt blue trumpet-form bowl with gauffered rims, raised on a colorless baluster-form stem and circular foot, rough pontil marks. Possibly Pittsburgh area. 19th century. 9" and 9 1/4" HOA, 4 7/8" D rims.

Provenance: From a Minnesota private collection.
One undamaged with minor interior wear, other with only a moderate chip to the rim; each with minute interior residue which is settled at the base of the bowl.
