Description
BLOWN-MOLDED GII-16 VARIANT SUGAR BOWL, colorless lead glass, squat globular form, pattern having two rings above diamonds, and two rings below short ribs around the galleried rim, factory polished top of rim, raised on an applied solid sloping foot with curl underneath. With a well-fitting domed cover molded with 12 flutes, topped with a button-style finial displaying 12 ribs and rough pontil mark. Cover is slightly more gray than bowl, but they both fluoresce identically. 1810-1830. 5 1/4" HOA, 3 1/2" H rim, 4 1/4" D rim, 2 7/8" D foot.
