Description

Framed Original Jum Musselman (1915-2014) Lehigh Valley Watercolor. Professionally Framed and Double Matted. Jim Musselman was the retired head of the art department at Allen High School. Graduates from Allen over several decades venerate Mr. Musselman and credit him for their successes in life, not just careers in art, but life in general. The arts center building at Sixth and Hamilton streets in Allentown is named in Jim's honor, and a huge piece of sculpture dedicated to Jim graces the lawn at his high school. A prolific watercolorist, his work has been featured in many one-man shows including the Kemmerer Art Museum, Bethlehem Civic Center, Moravian College, Muhlenberg College, Lehigh University, and The Baum School of Art. In 1980, he was awarded a retrospective show at the Allentown Art Museum showcasing his diverse artistic skills. In frame 11x9,25 Wt 1 pd 2 oz. PROVENANCE: A Private Kiawah Island Collection.
