Referred to as "Hampshire House' by the consignor, a large mid-Victorian dollhouse featuring a painted brick facade with notable embellishments including nicely molded window muntins and decorative molded trims. There is a shallow walled garden in front of the house. The hinged front panels open to reveal four spacious rooms and a narrow staircase hall. The rooms retain somewhat stained original wallpapers with old border papers added in 2005 when lighting was installed and arches added to the fronts of the staircase hallways. Patterned carpets in two bedrooms show some wear with moth damage. Papered floors appear to be original, although worn. The house was featured in the January 2015 issue of Antique Doll Collector. 41" H, 39" W, 23" D.
