Description

Matt Morgan Pottery charger, decorated by Nicholas Hirschfeld circa 1883 with a rocky landscape showing two owls seated on a branch beneath a cloudy sky with birds in the background. Impressed on reverse with the Matt Morgan Art Pottery logo and shape 234 and incised with Mr. Hirschfeld's initials. There is fine crazing and some pretty unobtrusive pinpoint glaze bubbles. Diameter of charger is 11 inches.
