Description: Lorgnette opera glasses with painted enamel scenes of cherubs and flowers. Eye pieces are mother of pearl as is the focusing grip which is engraved Premier, Paris.

History: Brass barrels are laminated with select abalone shell. Each eyepiece is engraved with the name of the jeweler that sold the glasses ornamental variety is based on the popular lorgnettes of the 19th century.
