Description
Collection of Three "Musterschutz" German Character Steins, probably by Schierholz and Sohn, depicting Von Bismarck, Wilhelm II and Wilhelm I, each executed in various shades of tan and white, the helmet covers lifting with molded pewter thumbpieces, each marked "Musterschutz" and with various impressed and painted numbers, h. 7" to 8", w. 3-1/2" to 4".
Condition
The lid on the von Bismark has a well-integrated professional restoration along with a tiny chip at the front of the bill. The third figure of Wilhelm III has a small chip to the helmet edge. Otherwise, no cracks or hairlines. All marked "Musterschutz" in green. Typical patina to the pewter fittings.
