AMERICAN COLONIAL TEA TABLE - Important New York circa 1760-1790 Chippendale Tea Table with round one board top in boldly figured crotch mahogany, retaining the original birdcage mount with keyway donut, set on a well proportioned stop fluted and acanthus leaf carved baluster column over a gadrooned turning, set on three arched legs with acanthus leaf carvings on knees, ending in shaped and padded claw feet. 28" x 28" diam. Sun faded top, retaining the original iron cleat on the inderside of the base.
